ULA Org Leader's Meeting:
To all Organizational Leaders,
We hope that you’ve had a great summer and are looking forward to the CNY Fall season.
It’s that time of the year when we look back on the 2022 ULA season and begin to make plans
for the 2023 season.
Our next ULA Organizational Leaders meeting will be on Wednesday, October 26th, at 6:30
p.m. We will be meeting at Twin Trees Too at 1029 Milton Ave in Syracuse. Due to the fact that
Twin Trees is not open on Mondays (our usual meeting day), we had to schedule our meeting
on a Wednesday instead. Hopefully, this notice will come well enough in advance so the
leaders can make the Wednesday night meeting.
This is an extremely important meeting so please make sure that someone from your
organization is in attendance. Our agenda will include a review of the 2022 season and your
feedback is crucial. We had numerous challenges this past season and we will be taking a very
proactive approach to these issues as we move into the 2023 season.
The ULA Board met on August 31st and we identified several keys issues that will be
addressed in conjunction with the Organizational Leaders. One change already is that the ULA
has hired a Website Administrator. We developed an initial draft of how the ULA will handle the
issue of a shortage of game officials. This will be shared on the 26th. There are other areas
pertaining to Opening Weekend, scheduling, length of the season, coach and parent behavior,
and rules that require input and direction from our leaders. We need everyone’s help and we’re
confident that this group of leaders will step up to make the necessary changes.
Please provide a RSVP by Wednesday, October 12th. This is another change by Twin Trees as
we must place our food order in advance for our meeting.
Thank you and see you on the 26th,
Noel and Kevin
